Job summary

Angarai International in Towson, Maryland, is seeking a hands-on Senior Business Analyst to support a government client’s Public Safety technology portfolio. The role focuses on replacing a core public safety system with requirements validated with SMEs and vendors, guiding testing, go‑live, and post‑production support on a 12‑month onsite assignment.

Responsibilities include developing requirements, collaborating on prototypes, drafting test plans, and capturing change requests.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years in systems analysis, change-management analysis, project management, program analysis or a closely related field.
Experience implementing public safety or government systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop functional and non-functional system requirements from documented business needs.
Collaborate with development staff and vendors on prototype designs for medium- to large-risk projects.
Write detailed unit and system test scripts; facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Analyze existing business processes and data flows; create system designs and delivery roadmaps.
Capture, consolidate and communicate information from SMEs; translate requirements into design docs.
Gather and document requirements for change requests after go-live.
Provide metrics on reporting, system performance and process control.
