Job summary

Heartland Technology Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to deliver consultative support and exceptional customer experience across multiple projects. The role emphasizes understanding customer needs, documenting requirements, and coordinating with technical staff to deliver solutions while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualified candidates will have 6+ years in software analysis and requirements gathering, plus a BS/BA in a related field and strong Office 365 skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software analysis and requirements gathering experience.
• 6+ years implementing custom and off‑the‑shelf business systems.
• 6+ years in User Experience and Usability.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/MIS/Business Analytics or Business Administration.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office 365 suite.

Responsibilities

• Proactively meet with customers to understand their business needs and project goals.
• Gather business requirements, develop functional specifications, and ensure IT solutions support objectives.
• Lead test strategy, develop test plans/cases, and provide training.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver on scope.
• Lead presales activities, scoping, proposals, and resource coordination.
• Coordinate and lead project teams to successful outcomes.
