Heartland Business Systems in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide consultative support across multiple projects. You will translate business needs into functional specifications, collaborate with IT and client teams, and lead QA, training, and implementation coordination.

The role requires 6+ years in software analysis and requirements gathering, a BS in a related field, and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience performing software analysis and requirements gathering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, MIS, Business Analytics or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office 365 products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Project.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills for managing complex teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Proactively meet with customers to understand their business needs and project goals.
• Lead requirements processes using decomposition, prototyping, and current/target state mapping.
• Develop functional specs, user stories, and SOWs to align IT solutions with business objectives.
• Lead test strategy, develop test plans/cases, and provide training to customers and project teams.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate and lead project teams to deliver successful outcomes across industries.
