Job summary

YourCode - Award Winning IT & Digital Consultancy seeks a Senior Business Analyst to work onsite at our Mountain Pine, Arkansas office. You will own requirements, lead discovery, analyze business problems, and define future-state processes in collaboration with stakeholders.

You will design and drive testing strategies, manage UAT, mentor analysts, and contribute to release quality. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or a combined role.
• Experience leading discovery on undefined business problems and producing supported recommendations.
• Demonstrated requirements authorship sufficient for development with minimal clarification.
• Experience leading User Acceptance Testing with business users.
• Mentoring analysts.

Responsibilities

• Owns the requirements relationship with business stakeholders for assigned domains.
• Leads discovery through interviews, observation, facilitated workshops, and data analysis.
• Analyzes stated requests to identify underlying business problems and presents solution options.
• Authors precise, testable, and traceable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Defines future-state processes with business stakeholders, including operational impact.
• Leads backlog refinement for assigned domains and participates in sprint planning.
• Represents business requirements in technical trade-off discussions and constraints to stakeholders.
• Advises the Manager of Software Development on prioritization, including supporting business analysis.
• Identifies cross-domain impact of proposed changes.
• Defines the test strategy and regression suite for assigned domains.
• Plans and leads User Acceptance Testing, including scenario design and business sign-off.
• Investigates defects to root cause and recommends corrective process changes.
• Contributes to release quality gates and to requirement/test documentation templates.
• Mentors junior and mid-level analysts through review and training.
• Reviews documentation authored by other analysts.
• Participates in interviewing and assessment of analyst candidates.
