Job summary

Texas Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company seeks a skilled program management/IS requirements role within its Underwriting - PMO. You will balance business needs with information systems, define requirements, coordinate testing, and ensure regression readiness.

You’ll work with IS resources and business units to align requirements with design and processes. The position emphasizes managing user validation, documentation, and implementation of policy processing systems and workflow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer, technical, or business administration related field with experience demonstrating skills required.
• Associate’s degree in a computer, technical, or business administration related field with experience demonstrating skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to take on a leadership role through efficient use of assigned personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to support and lead multiple projects.
• Understand how to communicate difficult information effectively.
• Exhibits creative thinking strategies beyond corporate boundaries.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills and close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training and assignments in a timely and effective manner.
• Apply departmental standards and procedures to all assignments.
• Communicate effectively with appropriate personnel.
• Report status on assigned projects.
• Manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
• Function effectively as a team member.
• Attend/organize/document meetings as needed.
• Participate in company sponsored insurance related training.
• Ensure traceability through requirements, test planning, and validation efforts; track and resolve issues.
• Enable development of use cases and/or user stories for projects.
• Coordinate alignment of business requirements with system design specifications and test planning.
• Determine enhancements to the regression test bed for coverage of business functionality.
• Build relationships with business units to develop a joint vision.
• Provide technical support and documentation for project development and implementation.
• Monitor and improve workflow processes and procedures.
• Assist in training for agents and personnel on new system features.
• Implement rate, endorsement, or other enhancements required by the Company or regulators.
