Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Senior Business Analyst for a government IT modernization program in Washington, DC. You will translate complex business needs into actionable requirements for delivery teams and lead workshops with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product owners, project managers, and technical staff to deliver compliant, efficient solutions. The position requires a strong background in Agile, SDLC, and executive reporting, with exceptional communication and leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Agile software development projects.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Oversees program delivery activities related to IT modernization and budget processes.
Translates business needs into actionable requirements for delivery teams.
Develops user stories and prepares requirements for sprint planning.
Facilitates workshops with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Collaborates with product owners, project managers, and technical teams.
Creates executive-level reporting and presentations.
Supports issue, risk, dependency, and change management activities.
