About the Job

Position: Senior Business Analyst (BA)

Location: 100% remote

Duration: 6+ Months

Experience: 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and author system requirements and specifications.
2. Liaise between business and IT groups.
3. Act as proxy product owner in agile sprints.
4. Support daily system operations.
5. Conduct calls with customers, maintain and prioritize product backlog.
6. Write user stories, conduct release & sprint planning, and facilitate agile ceremonies.
7. Develop and maintain clear user stories.
8. Design, develop, and implement computer application systems based on user requirements.
9. Create wireframes, mockups, use case diagrams, and functional flow diagrams.
10. Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
11. Meet with end-users to discuss issues and enhancements.
12. Review and edit documentation, host meetings, and manage risks and scope creep.
13. Provide application support and troubleshoot issues.
14. Write SQL queries for data research and troubleshooting.
15. Use tools like TFS and JIRA for application lifecycle management.

Basic Qualifications

1. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a BA in enterprise environments.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3. Experience in Agile/Scrum as a Product Owner or Business Analyst.
4. Experience supporting workflow-based systems.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Experience with SQL Developer, Toad, SharePoint, TFS, JIRA, and Google Apps.
7. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
8. Ability to pass a public trust background check.
