JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically fluent project coordinator to support our data engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring we maintain our data pipeline development lifecycle runs smoothly through clear documentation, effective project tracking, and release coordination. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of SQL, data pipeline concepts, and is comfortable working in a cloud environment, specifically Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning and maintaining Jira boards for day-to-day task management.
• Managing and organizing Confluence documentation.
• Facilitating project management duties including status reporting, meeting coordination, and follow-ups.
• Coordinating release and capacity management across environments and teams.
• Collaborating with engineers and analysts to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements and delivery.
• Translating high-level business needs into detailed requirements.
• Identifying and supporting process improvement opportunities.
• Supporting analytical aspects of the application product lifecycle.
• Collaborating with customers to understand needs, gather specifications, create business cases, and conduct cost sheet analysis.
• Identifying, documenting, and resolving risks, defects, and issues.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A basic understanding of SQL and data concepts.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead with customers, engineers, architects, capability managers, and team members to capture capability needs and drive quality business solutions on complex issues. Create and maintain deliverables such as business vision, requirements, testing plans, scenarios, outcomes, user task analysis, wireframes, usability testing, personalization, and UI design.
• Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle on agile scrum teams, including roles like Scrum Master, Business Technical Analyst, UI Designer, Capability Manager, or Tester, depending on experience and need.
• Provide business and subject matter expertise for project and production activities on complex issues, including strategic programs impacting current and existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with standards and obtain necessary approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interface with business areas, customers, partners, vendors, technical staff, and project teams to drive value and innovative solutions, including vendor solution assessments and cost-benefit analyses.
• Support requirements testing, including planning, scenarios, documentation, and defect management, to minimize production defects and analyze results in relation to customer impact.
• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, partners, and management; conduct requirement walkthroughs, sprint reviews, report project status, and provide documentation.
• Provide strategic direction and thought leadership in product and technology solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
