We have a Contract assignment available with our client in Harrisburg, PA.

Position: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: 6+ Months

Note: Currently the position is 100% remote, but this may change if the Governor calls Commonwealth employees back to the office on a full-time or hybrid basis. The telework policy is subject to change at the Governor's discretion. When onboarded, the candidate must meet in person on the first day to obtain equipment. Additional in-person requirements may include team building, conferences, or training, communicated in advance.

For first day processing, badging, and equipment pickup, the candidate must physically report to the 5th floor of The Keystone Building, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Parking is available nearby; costs are not covered.

Interviews will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.

The Senior Business Analyst (BA) will collaborate with stakeholders and development team members under the direction of the Bureau of Business and Service Management (BBSM) and the Project Manager (PM) from PennDOT’s Project Management Office (PMO) to provide analysis and project support.

The Senior BA will:

• Provide independent evaluation of existing efforts.
• Support requirements elicitation, prioritization, validation, and documentation.
• Coordinate open user stories/work items.
• Develop test scripts and support testing activities.
• Assist with implementation and document outcomes.
• Serve as liaison between development team and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Triage production issues and work with teams to resolve them.
• Attend stakeholder sessions to identify requirements and coordinate deliverables.
• Support testing and validation activities, including test plan development, system testing, and UAT.
• Coordinate accessibility conformance testing.
• Develop/update test scripts and report defects.
• Support system training, Go-Live activities, and communicate schedule changes.
• Compile implementation documentation into Outcome Reports, including session notes, updates, and recommendations for future planning.

• Mastery of industry standards and best practices, with a focus on continuous improvement.
