Job summary

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) seeks a Lead Business Analyst - Actuarial Commercial Lines to bridge actuarial concepts with data engineering.

You will own data platform development, work with Commercial Lines Actuarial Groups, and drive prioritization within the Global Data Office to maximize business impact. You should bring 7+ years in actuarial business analysis, strong data/ETL skills, and proven Agile leadership.

Qualifications

7+ years in business analysis within insurance/finance.
Strong actuarial concepts: reserving, pricing, risk.
Experience with data environments, ETL and visualization tools.
Proven Agile product owner experience and backlog management.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements sessions with senior actuaries to define functional specs.
Facilitate alignment across actuaries and Data Office on priorities and timelines.
Own data platform roadmaps and partner with data engineers to deliver features.
Lead Agile ceremonies and refine user stories with the team.
Translate actuarial needs into actionable stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
Ensure data governance, lineage, testing, and production change docs.
