You will manage a team of 2-4 actuaries, collaborate with underwriting and claims, and drive profitability through advanced analytics, loss-trend assessments and best-practice methodologies in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area.
• ACAS or FCAS.
• 7+ yrs Actuarial Pricing Experience.
• 2+ yrs Actuarial Management Experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, SAS, Python, R or other programming languages preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skill.
• Work well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Help elevate the technical capabilities of the underwriting team through dynamic work projects such as profitability studies, rater development and maintenance, large accounts pricing review, and planning support.
• Be a trusted business partner, working closely with the underwriting and claims departments to ensure profitable performance and growth.
• Partner with other actuaries in implementing best practices and analytical techniques.
• Assess the impact of loss trends and claims emergence.
• Manage a team of 2-4 Actuaries.
