Job description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the discovery, evaluation, and deployment alignment of connected technology solutions at customer locations. This role functions as the strategic gatekeeper for new initiatives—ensuring that only value-generating, deployment-ready products move forward.

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to streamline delivery processes, improve product adoption, and reduce costly delays. This Business Analyst will report into an Infrastructure Director an work closely with internal teams as well as directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Discovery & Readiness Evaluation

• Meet with product owners and implementation partners to assess project documentation, functionality, and operational fit.
• Determine when a product is ready for deployment and direct it into the appropriate phase of execution.
• Act as the first point of evaluation for new projects and solutions entering the broader deployment pipeline.

Business Prioritization & Strategic Focus

• Prioritize deployments that align with business goals, particularly those with strong revenue potential or cost-saving impact.
• Provide structure to a growing list of connected technology initiatives, reducing rework and increasing on-site success rates.
• Support goals around the onboarding of new products, tracking readiness across multiple workstreams.

Process Improvement & Tool Optimization

• Evaluate internal processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, particularly in field deployment and support.
• Provide insight on existing tools and introduce better solutions for documentation, data flow, and internal collaboration.
• Collaborate with development teams working on support portals and reporting platforms to align functional needs with user expectations.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, particularly in technology, field deployment, or IoT environments.
• Proven ability to engage with cross-functional teams, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Strong process-thinking mindset with experience identifying gaps and suggesting practical solutions.
• Familiarity with platforms such as SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, or Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to resolving ambiguity.
• Ability to recommend and introduce new internal tools that support deployment and support teams.
• The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing intake and validation of technology initiatives, guiding them through early-stage review to full-scale deployment.
