HotFoot Recruiters is proud to partner with a leading financial services organization to hire a Senior Business Analyst who will play a key role in driving system improvements, documenting business requirements, and supporting cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise, business process documentation experience, and a deep understanding of system interactions and dependencies. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to enhance business systems and drive operational efficiencies.

Title: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Type: Contract (through 12/31/2025)

Start Date: 03/02/2025

Pay Rate: Up to $98/hr

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Engineers, and Business Analysts to ensure alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
• Act as a primary liaison between business users and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Analyze system behavior, data dependencies, and cross-divisional impacts to recommend optimal solutions.
• Support multiple complex business processes, providing structured documentation, process models, and data flows.
• Assist in creating and executing multiple user stories and features simultaneously within an Agile framework.
• Develop and refine user stories, business cases, and system requirements to support Agile project execution.
• Develop and present business system cases to leadership, ensuring alignment with firm-wide objectives.
• Facilitate requirements discussions and drive business process documentation with minimal supervision.
• Research, analyze, and document benefits vendor processes, particularly in awards and compensation.
• Provide mentoring and technical assistance to peers, helping junior analysts refine their analytical skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for scenario modeling, business case development, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies, Agile frameworks, and business process redesign.
• 2-5 years of experience in business process design, systems implementation, and data analysis.
• Strong expertise in documenting business cases, use cases, and technical requirements.
• Proven ability to map out business process models, data flows, and system interactions.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts, data analysis, and system architecture.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Technology, Business, or a related field preferred).
• Strong relationship management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts is a plus.
