OhioX is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor in Columbus, OH to provide first-line supervision of bus maintenance activities, ensuring a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient fleet for transit service commitments. The role emphasizes leadership, records management, and coordination with maintenance teams to meet daily schedules.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and four years of supervisory experience in vehicle maintenance; ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED, and four (4) years of supervisory experience in vehicle maintenance.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and reviews PMI, monitors repairs, and conducts vehicle audits.
• Maintains records and documents repairs and service actions in the MMS.
• Coordinates repairs with other shops and assigns staff to tasks.
• Oversees staff training, discipline, and performance feedback.
• Ensures buses are serviced and ready for daily operation and safety compliance.
