Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator III to contribute to a team-oriented production process. Responsibilities include operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery, assisting in preventative maintenance, and sanitation of all related equipment.

The role requires mastering Enterprise software data input, reporting, and data retrieval that impacts production and financial systems. Candidates must support a safe, compliant environment and work well in a high-functioning team.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent with technical training.
• A technical certification may include the AIB “Science of Baking” course.

Responsibilities

• Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and work reporting times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area at all times while on duty.
• Operate facility metal detector(s) if trained and certified.
• Comply with safety rules, GMPs, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management including attendance and schedules.
• Set up equipment and ensure continuous, efficient material flow.
• Verify product quality meets required standards and adjust as needed.
