Job summary

Atlas is seeking an experienced Building Systems Inspector in Gresham, OR to support the Bull Run Filtration Facility project. You will oversee structural and envelope systems, verify code compliance, and coordinate with testing personnel to ensure fully integrated building systems from foundation to turnover.

The role requires 5–8 years of inspection experience, strong drawing interpretation, and proficiency with CM software.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of building or structural inspection experience on civil projects.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, architectural plans, and specs.
• Working knowledge of IBC and related structural standards.
• Experience documenting inspections using CM software.
• 100% onsite presence on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of building and structural systems and components.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specs, and codes (IBC).
• Review shop drawings to understand inspection criteria and hold points.
• Coordinate with testing personnel for steel, welding, and concrete testing.
• Conduct pre-pour, pre-erection, and pre-installation inspections.
• Inspect building envelope installations for weatherproofing and interfaces.
• Identify non-conforming work and track corrective actions.
• Maintain daily inspection reports with photos.
• Participate in quality and prep meetings; support punch lists and turnover.
• Coordinate with Mechanical and Electrical Inspectors for system integration.
