Job summary

Atlas is seeking a seasoned Building Systems Inspector to support the Bull Run Filtration Facility project in Gresham, OR. The role focuses on QC for building and structural systems, including foundations, framing, enclosure, and embedded utilities, ensuring conformance with drawings and codes.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of inspection experience on commercial or heavy civil projects and can read structural/architectural drawings, with strong knowledge of IBC requirements and construction

Qualifications

5–8 years of building or structural inspection experience on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.
Experience inspecting reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry and framing systems.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, architectural plans, shop drawings, and specifications.
Working knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC) and structural standards.
Experience documenting inspections and deficiencies using construction management software.

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections of building and structural systems including foundations, walls, slabs, and structural components.
Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
Coordinate with testing personnel for structural steel, welding, and concrete testing verification.
Maintain daily inspection reports with photographic documentation.
Support development of punch lists and final turnover documentation.
Coordinate with Mechanical and Electrical Inspectors to ensure full system integration.
