Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Senior Chief Engineer to lead engineering and maintenance for large commercial properties in Cincinnati. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems operate safely and efficiently.

You will coordinate inspections, life safety programs, and energy audits while implementing preventive maintenance and coordinating with contractors and tenants. This role requires strong leadership and technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Vocational/Technical training certificate.
• Appropriate trade license (Journeyman/Master Electrician) as required.
• Universal Technician for CFCs per licensure.
• Knowledge of EMS/Building Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance staff; hiring, training and reviews.
• Oversee 500k+ sq ft of properties and building systems.
• Perform energy audits, inspections and surveys (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures and annual budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams; ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
