Job summary

NFM is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician III in Cedar Park, TX to maintain HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical equipment and other specialty systems to keep the facility running smoothly.

The role focuses on operating, repairing and preventive maintenance of HVAC and related systems, with duties including reading electrical diagrams, completing work orders, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Relevant coursework in heating, air conditioning, ventilation, mechanical repair, or carpentry preferred
• 2 years heating, air conditioning and ventilation; concrete repair, light electrical work and plumbing experience required
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Be The Expert: Maintain working knowledge of refrigeration principles and tools to operate and repair AC equipment
• Solve: Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls on heating, ventilation and AC equipment
• Preform: Complete regular preventative maintenance on snow removal equipment and other specialty machines
• Be Precise: Maintain working knowledge of reading electrical diagrams/schematics and experience with general shop equipment
• Collaborate: Effectively complete work orders, enter in job notes, and maintain records of maintenance preformed
• Support: Preform all types of building repairs to maintain our world class facility
