Job summary

Hines is seeking a Building Lead Engineer to report to the Chief Engineer and oversee the daily operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. You will lead a team, perform critical maintenance, and coordinate with outside contractors to ensure building performance and safety standards are met.

Your responsibilities include training staff, managing work orders, and contributing to long-range planning and budgeting while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Connecticut D2 or S2 license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MEP and HVAC equipment maintaining established operating criteria.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment.
• Lead and coordinate staff, scheduling regular work and outside contractors.
• Assist with long-term planning, budgeting and forecasting for the property.
