Hines is seeking a Building Lead Engineer to oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems at our property. You will report to the Chief Engineer, lead a crew, schedule work, and coordinate contractors while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and CT D2/S2 license preferred; strong leadership, communication, and troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Connecticut D2 or S2 license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operating all building systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues.
• Proficient with Building Automation System and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain MEP and HVAC equipment to required criteria.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on MEP equipment.
• Make adjustments to fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Lead crew, schedule work and coordinate outside contractors.
• Maintain operation logs and revise spreadsheets.
• Participate in water treatment programs as directed.
• Assist with budgeting and long-range planning.
• Attend after-hours calls and on-call duties.
