Job summary

Stream Realty Partners seeks a Chief Engineer to lead engineering operations for a commercial property. You will assign tasks, set project goals, negotiate with vendors and clients, and ensure projects meet time and budget targets.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and energy-saving initiatives while mentoring staff and coordinating with tenants and contractors to maintain high performance standards.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in Commercial Building Operations or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety systems.
• Read and understand as-built/construction drawings.
• Ability to operate power tools and basic maintenance equipment.
• Obtain required licenses or permits when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in annual budget process and oversee expenditures.
• Develop specs and assist in maintenance service contracts.
• Oversee construction, tenant improvements, and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety requirements.
• Lead and develop engineering staff; manage scheduling and training.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
