Job summary

Be responsible for monitoring system performance, responding to emergencies, coordinating with contractors, managing work orders, and supporting energy-efficient operations to minimize costs.

Qualifications

• Complies with codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations.
• Maintains and inspects building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Monitors and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs and installations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and/or HVAC equipment, machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of buildings.
• Operates, maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment, including HVAC, lighting, life safety, and building management systems.
• Oversees work by outside contractors and coordinates tasks to ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards.
• Responds to emergencies and customer concerns using PC/PDA for work orders, email, ESS and training.
• Maintains professional appearance of property and ensures proper documentation of tasks and materials.
