Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a Building Enclosure Associate Principal to lead a Southwest Building Science & Infrastructure team in San Antonio. The role involves technical leadership, project oversight, mentorship, and client development across building enclosure consulting, testing, and design review.

You will manage complex projects, coordinate staffing and budgets, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions while advancing ECS standards and client service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting, testing or forensic assessments.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering, NCARB preferred; RA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across building science and infrastructure projects.
• Review senior-level reports and deliverables for quality and consistency.
• Oversee building enclosure investigations, testing programs, and design efforts.
• Manage projects from initiation through closeout, including budgets and staffing.
• Mentor junior staff and support day-to-day execution and team development.
• Support business development, client interactions, and proposal development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality consulting solutions.
