We are seeking a Senior Building Custodian to oversee cleaning, maintenance, and grounds care at our facilities. Key responsibilities include:

1. Supervising and participating in cleaning activities such as sweeping, washing, polishing, vacuuming, and maintaining various floor types using appropriate equipment and detergents.
2. Maintaining building fixtures including light fixtures, shades, and other furnishings.
3. Cleaning, packing, and moving books, along with relocating furniture and equipment as needed.
4. Ensuring proper operation and care of HVAC and electrical systems.
5. Maintaining grounds, including lawn care, planting, shrub trimming, snow shoveling, and debris removal.
6. Performing related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of custodial or related experience.
• Ability to plan, supervise, and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills, dependability, tact, and courtesy.
• Good judgment and attention to detail.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Offenders Record Information (CORI) check.

Additional Details:

• Position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
