Job summary

Johnson Controls in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Controls Service Technician 5 to design, configure and service complex building control systems, including HVAC and low voltage subsystems. You will develop software, perform commissioning, and provide submittals to customers and teams, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Requires at least ten years in programming, installing or commissioning control systems, proficiency with LON, and knowledge of drawings and building automation.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of experience programming, installing or commissioning controls systems.
• Proficiency with LON required.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, control theory, and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures and services technically complex building control systems for the customer facility.
• Develops and tests software programs to operate the system per customer requirements.
• Coordinates drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and service/installation.
• Assists in loading and commissioning of system and network controllers; troubleshoots with subcontractors.
• Provides field change information for as-built drawings and software.
• Keeps management and customers informed of progress and issues.
