Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Controls Service Technician 5 to design, configure and service complex building control systems for client facilities.

You will develop software, perform commissioning, and ensure system performance in line with customer goals and JCI standards. The role requires LON proficiency and familiarity with drawings; opportunities for training, advancement, and contributing to safety and efficiency across projects exist.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience programming, installing or commissioning controls systems.
• Must be proficient with LON.
• Knowledge of Modbus, LON, BACnet and related subsystems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and service complex building control systems.
• Develop and test software to operate the system per facility requirements.
• Coordinate drawings and equipment schedules for submittals.
• Assist loading, commissioning and troubleshooting with subcontractors.
• Provide field change information for as-built drawings and software.
• Support owner/operator training on total building control system.
• Maintain safety standards on site.
