Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site controls technician to perform maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of building automation systems. You will engage with customers directly to ensure high satisfaction and provide guidance to junior technicians.

The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly. A technical education background is preferred and on-site safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Four years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Vocational/Technical education or an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Ability to explain technical information to customers and write clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through on-site interaction.
• Mentor technicians on building automation activities and provide training.
