Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced Building Controls Engineer to design, configure, and service complete HVAC building control systems for client facilities.

You will develop software, prepare submittals, and ensure system performance aligns with customer goals. Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in engineering with 8+ years in HVAC or building automation, proficiency with industry protocols, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 8+ years of experience requirement.
• Knowledge of HVAC, building automation, and control theory.
• Experience with integration of low-voltage subsystems using industry protocols (LON, BACnet, etc.).
• Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and strong CAD skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and service building control systems for client facilities.
• Develop and test software programs to operate building control systems.
• Create drawings, bill of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics.
• Coordinate submittals, services, and installation activities; track materials.
