Job summary

Johnson Controls invites a seasoned professional to lead service, repair, design, configuration and operation of complete HVAC building control systems and related low‑voltage subsystems for the NBAF site in Manhattan, Kansas.

You will develop software programs, commissioning and testing to ensure proper operation; create drawings, BOMs, schedules and electrical schematics; coordinate with customers, consultants, sales and subcontractors; and provide site‑specific training to owner/operator

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or eight+ years with an engineering degree.
• Knowledge of building automation systems and control theory.
• Experience integrating low voltage subsystems using protocols like LON or BACnet.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configures, and services complex building control systems for the customer facility.
• Develops software programs, commissioning and testing to ensure proper operation.
• Creates drawings, BOMs, schedules and electrical schematics for submittals and installations.
• Coordinates with sales, service, consultants and subcontractors.
