Job summary

Universal Orlando is seeking a Utilities Supervisor to oversee operations, maintenance, monitoring, scheduling and improvements of resort-wide life safety, security control, environmental building management and utilities systems.

The role includes budgeting for utility departments, leading field crews, enforcing safety and regulatory requirements, pursuing energy-conservation initiatives, and coordinating with ride/venue maintenance to ensure reliability and readiness.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience; 5-7 years combined operation and maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees energy conservation goals and initiatives to reduce utility costs.
• Supervises Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electronic Control work and PM schedules.
• Coaches utility trade technicians and conducts performance evaluations.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance across utilities and maintenance activities.

Education

Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
