Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking an experienced HVAC/R specialist to maintain and optimize industrial and commercial systems across the property. You will diagnose complex issues, calibrate controls, and support safety and operational standards while leveraging PLCs and the Building Management System.

Responsibilities include servicing chillers, boilers, DX equipment up to 40 tons, coordinating with contractors, updating Maximo records, and mentoring HVAC Techs and apprentices to uphold best

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience with commercial/industrial HVAC/R systems.
• 1+ year in theme park industry preferred.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
• Florida Driver's License mandatory.
• Journeyman/Contractor/Masters license issued by municipality/state required.

Responsibilities

• Advanced HVAC/R servicing across site, using PLCs and BMS for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain refrigeration systems with EEC controls and PLCs.
• Interface with third-party contractors to ensure quality workmanship.
• Populate Maximo with asset records and PM plans; coordinate PM testing.
• Provide technical leadership to HVAC Tech II/III and apprentices.
• Follow EH&S policies and participate in safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
