The role blends engineering with hands-on leadership, mentoring automation engineers and field technicians while delivering system integration, cybersecurity, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BAS, HVAC controls, or automation engineering experience.
• Proficiency in coordinating complex BAS projects and platform integrations.
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience; relevant certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and commission advanced BAS and HVAC control systems.
• Oversee integration of BAS with lighting, energy management, and security systems.
• Manage interoperability across BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and IP-based networks.
• Develop controller logic, graphics, databases, and front-end interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance for reliability and efficiency.
• Support project teams from pre-design through startup and turnover.
• Mentor automation engineers and field technicians.
