Job summary

Honeywell, a leader in software-industrial solutions, seeks a Sr Field Service Technician in Los Angeles to deliver high-level technical support and service to customers, troubleshoot complex issues, perform maintenance, and train customers and junior technicians.

You will respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, install simple control systems, promote strong customer relations, and help with contract retention, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in low-voltage control circuits.
• 2+ years configuring and troubleshooting BAS (Tridium Niagara, Metasys, etc.).
• 2+ years in HVAC Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
• 2+ years open-protocol automation (BACnet/Modbus/LonWorks).
• Knowledge of HVAC, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and sequences of operation.
• TCP/IP networking knowledge a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment under contract.
• Respond to emergency service calls to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot, repair and restore systems to full operation.
• Make minor repairs to mechanical units, remotes, I/O, CPU, software.
• Install simple control systems or modifications.
• Train customers on maintenance and operating procedures.
• Maintain strong customer relations and assist in contract retention.
