Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to lead and support field service activities, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair advanced building automation systems while mentoring junior technicians. The role reports to the Field Service Supervisor and is based in El Paso, TX on a Hybrid work schedule.

You will guide technicians, ensure high service standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

As a Lead Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will lead and support field service activities to ensure the highest level of service delivery and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• Proven experience in field service technician roles, preferably in building automation or related systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, sensors, control systems, and energy management technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and software used in building automation system maintenance and repair and fire alarm systems.
• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, HVAC, or related field.
• Experience leading or mentoring field service teams.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in building systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
