Job summary
Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to supervise installation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Automation and Fire Alarm systems.
You will guide field teams, resolve complex issues, and ensure compliance with codes while delivering exceptional customer service. You will lead on-site installations, perform tests and preventive maintenance, and mentor technicians across multiple projects, driving efficient service delivery and continuous improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years installing, servicing, troubleshooting Building Automation or Fire Alarm systems.
- 5+ years hands-on BAS and life-safety systems experience.
- 5+ years interpreting drawings, schematics, and codes.
- 5+ years leading field service activities and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience providing remote and on-site customer support.
Responsibilities
- Lead installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of BAS and fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues remotely and on-site to ensure reliability.
- Mentor and support field service technicians.
- Collaborate with customers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and regulatory standards.
