Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician III in Pittsburgh, PA, onsite. You will support Building Automation Systems (BAS), service contracts, system upgrades, and control-related service requests, ensuring responsive customer service and long-term client relationships.

You will identify and diagnose direct digital control systems, perform maintenance, commissioning, and modifications, and maintain BAS by reviewing trend logs, schedules, and hardware.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technician support for BAS, service contracts, system upgrades, and controls service requests.
• Deliver responsive, professional customer service and build long-term relationships.
• Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and required modifications.
• Maintain building automation systems: trends, reports, schedules, hardware, and programming.
• Provide controls technical support to HVAC techs and customers.
• Create/implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects.
• Commission installs and verify control sequences meet specs.
• Provide training and follow-ups for customers and operations staff.
• Complete work orders and review accuracy with customers.
• Seek process improvements to better serve customers.
