Job summary

DynaTen is seeking a Controls Service Technician III to perform advanced service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building automation systems in commercial facilities. You will work independently on most tasks, support upgrades, and assist senior technicians on complex issues.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of building automation or controls service experience.
• Experience troubleshooting BAS systems and HVAC control sequences.
• Working knowledge of IP networking and BAS communications.
• Experience modifying control programs and graphics within established standards.
• Ability to work independently on most service calls.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of building automation systems and associated HVAC equipment.
• Investigate system alarms, communication issues, and performance problems.
• Modify existing control programming, graphics, and databases as needed to correct operational issues.
• Assist with system upgrades including firmware, software, workstation updates, and controller replacements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service activities under service agreements.
• Communicate with building operators to understand issues and explain system operation.
