Job summary

DynaTen, Inc. is seeking a Controls Service Tech II to provide troubleshooting, diagnostics and service on existing building automation systems under service requests, planned maintenance, or small projects.

This role requires independent work and strong communication with clients. You will review and modify programming, install and configure components, coordinate with the customer’s IT team, and train building staff on operations, with a focus on reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction,

Qualifications

2–4 years building automation or controls service experience.
2–4 years IT networks, building controls, or mechanical systems experience.
Working knowledge of IP networking and BAS communications.
Experience modifying control programs and graphics.
Ability to work independently on most service calls.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass required background and pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair building automation systems.
Review and modify programming; manage databases and graphics.
Troubleshoot routine issues in operations.
Update and configure PCs, interfaces, data servers, IP devices; resolve network issues.
Coordinate network drops, IP address setup, and deployment of monitoring tools.
Coordinate with vendors for integration and communications protocols.
Demonstrate system operation to owners; train customers.
Complete service work orders and reports.
