Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a HVAC Controls Specialist II to support retro-commissioning and new construction commissioning projects. You will evaluate, program, optimize, and test building systems on-site or remotely, partnering with project delivery teams to achieve energy efficiency goals.

Ideal candidates have +7 years in commissioning or related fields, an Associate’s degree in HVAC/building automation, and strong communication, organizational, and safety skills. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in HVAC, Energy Management, Building Automation or related field.
• +7 years commissioning or related field experience with MEP systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and safety focus.
• Ability to work with limited information and be self-directed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based commissioning tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per ENFRA policies and safety guidelines.
• Document activities and solutions for the project team.
• Execute tasks and deliverables in a timely manner.
• Participate in site surveys and due-diligence activities.
• Review design/submittals for new construction scopes.
• Utilize CxAlloy to document commissioning scopes and tests.
• Develop pre-functional checklists and functional tests.
• Prepare technical reports and project observations for the team.
• Implement energy conservation measures independently or with partners.
• Coordinate with facilities staff and trade partners.
