Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) is hiring a senior software engineer to lead hands-on development and scale a core home healthcare platform built on .NET Framework and .NET Core.

You will own deployments, build CI/CD pipelines, automate database workflows, and guide a small engineering team, while collaborating with cloud and infrastructure partners to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years with production deployments and the infrastructure they run on.
• Proven experience modernizing long-lived legacy systems with automation.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying .NET applications (C# and VB.NET).
• Hands-on infrastructure experience configuring Windows Server and IIS environments, including Windows Services and AWS EC2.
• SQL Server deployment: schema, stored procedures, data migration scripts.
• Strong deployment scripting skills (PowerShell).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience automating deployment to auto-scaled compute fleets with VM images (AMI) and rollback on failure.
• Availability to execute production releases during off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on building and shipping agents while growing a small engineering team.
• Set technical direction on architecture and stack.
• Build the product from source across .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Prepare complete deployment assets for each release and own production releases.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for lower environments and production.
• Automate database deployment including schema changes and data migration.
• Support branching strategy and improve local development experience.
• Diagnose deployment issues across application, web, service, and database tiers.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering to improve infrastructure and reliability.
