Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a senior Release Engineer responsible for owning the release-candidate build and installer process for our multi-repository software platform.

The role drives automation to reduce manual steps, improve reproducibility, and shorten lead times across Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines. You will manage version bookkeeping, ensure dependencies are finalized before cuts, and collaborate with product teams to align timing and packaging.

Qualifications

• Senior level responsible for owning the release-candidate build and installer process across multiple repositories.
• Experience with multi-repo Maven reactors and dependency management.
• Strong CI/CD experience including Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Proficient in Windows MSI packaging and code signing workflows.
• Able to troubleshoot build/packaging failures and drive automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform release-candidate cuts across multiple repositories and manage versioning/branching.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the CI build/package/sign/publish chain.
• Coordinate with product/components owners on build timing and version alignment.
• Validate reproducibility of signed artifacts and publish downstream.
• Drives process improvements to reduce manual steps and enable incremental builds.
