• One or more years of experience in fiscal or budgetary administration, procurement, accounting, or closely related areas.
• Credit hours from college/university in accounting or public/business administration may substitute for up to four years of experience at 30 credit hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Directs complex support service functions: personnel, expenditure control, facilities upkeep, supplies procurement, and local purchasing.
• Monitors compliance; reconciles balances; prepares budget reports and grant requests.
• Approves service contracts, invoices, and encumbrances; ensures procurement compliance.
• Researches scope of work, bid documents, and vendor selection for supplies/equipment/services.
• Supervises staff; responds to inquiries from state officials, customers, vendors, and the public.
• Assists in development of budget plans and performs related duties as assigned.
