Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a supervisory maintenance professional to direct and oversee facility, grounds, and trades staff across state facilities. You will implement a preventive maintenance program, plan and organize work, prepare time and material estimates, and ensure equipment and grounds are kept in top condition.

Minimum qualifications include 3+ years of relevant experience and being at least 18 years old.

• Must be 18 years or older with three or more years of experience relevant/similar to the listed job functions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee a variety of facility, grounds, specialized trade workers, and contractors in maintenance, operations, and repair of state facilities.
• Implement a planned preventive maintenance and repair program; plan and organize work; prepare time and material estimates; orders materials; maintain records of materials used.
• Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline.
