Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Budget and Financial Analyst to support DHS ICE operations, focusing on financial management, strategic planning, data analytics, and reporting. The role will remotely support the Wyoming Sub-Field Office with budget execution and analysis, data calls, and program management tasks.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in dynamic environments, with strong budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills, and DHS clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
• 8+ years in dynamic customer delivery environments; two years may be substituted by a Master’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial data reporting and analytics for mission taskings.
• Participate in budget analysis for formulation, execution, and multi-year planning.
• Monitor execution-year budget figures; analyze needs and align with priorities.
• Develop costing data, financial and program analysis to identify savings and risks.
• Capture budget requirements and lead or support resolution activities.
• Support budgeting and financial planning for the field office.
• Produce financial and program management deliverables (briefings, white papers).
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams for taskings and data calls.
• Coordinate project requirements, deadlines, and dependencies to stay on track.
• Create and update project documentation (SOPs, status reports, meeting materials).
• Assess client needs and conduct gap analyses for timely solutions.
