Job summary

The Office of the Secretary of Defense seeks an Associate Director, Contingency and International Programs (Program Budget) to advise on budgetary aspects of contingency operations, disaster assistance, and international programs.

You will direct strategic alignment, lead budget formulation, oversee financial execution, and provide executive guidance on interagency matters with financial implications. This position is telework eligible and located in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Directs strategic alignment and resource optimization for contingency operations, disaster assistance, and international programs under DoW policies.
• Leads strategic budget formulation with short- and long-range plans and fiscal year policies for contingency, disaster assistance, and security cooperation.
• Oversees financial execution and reimbursement, reviewing Comptroller issues during Program and Budget Review for DoW programs.
• Advises leadership on financial implications of Federal and foreign government requests for DoW support and services.
