Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm in Austin, TX is seeking a Budget Analyst V to lead budget preparation and analysis for Medicaid and CHIP services. You will oversee budget development, monitor performance, and prepare management reports for executive leadership.

The role requires coordinating with Budget Manager and program staff, supervising staff, and facilitating budget briefings. Telework is eligible, with regular day shifts and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of budget management and accounting policies, practices, and operations.
• Ability to develop and evaluate administrative policies and procedures.
• Ability to prepare concise reports and present financial information.

Responsibilities
