Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services invites applications for the Financial Analyst III position in Austin. The role supports the FRAC Director in reviewing financial compliance submissions from contracted providers, including MCOs and DMOs, across Texas.

The analyst will analyze financial operations, develop ad-hoc solutions, and prepare documentation to pass audits. Telework is eligible, with a day shift and full-time hours in a state government setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is generally preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid financial reporting and state government processes is desirable.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and financial analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial reviews of managed care and dental organizations for reporting compliance.
• Assist in assessing corrective action plans and monitoring ongoing compliance.
• Document work and develop policies to improve financial reporting processes.
• Provide advanced financial analysis for internal and external projects and ad hoc analyses.
