Qualifications

• 4 yrs. experience in budgeting with fiscal management and quantitative/statistical analysis.
• Undergraduate core program in accounting, public finance, public administration or business administration with 24 mos. exp.
• Graduate core program in accounting/public finance/public administration with 12 mos. exp.
• 12 months exp. as Budget Analyst, 63261, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Budget Planning & Monitoring: develop and monitor agency budgets, including biennium budget preparation.
• Cost Accounting & Allocation: apply cost distribution data, maintain CAP, and allocate across programs.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: research and interpret financial data, forecast models, and prepare reports.
• Tools & Technology: use spreadsheets, databases, and other software for modeling, reports, and data updates.
