City of Syracuse is seeking a seasoned Budget Analyst II to lead budget preparation and administration for multiple departments. You will review budget requests, translate policies into formal recommendations, and develop systems to streamline processes.

Under supervision, you will provide analysis, forecast financial trends, and communicate findings clearly to leadership, with opportunities to supervise and mentor junior analysts.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required with two years of professional budget experience.
• Ability to prepare and analyze operating budgets and cost data.
• Familiarity with public sector budgeting practices and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Analyzes departmental budget estimates and justifications for operating expenditures.
• Develops and enhances budget systems and management reports.
• Forecasts revenues and expenditures and advises on fiscal policy.
• Supervises Budget/Management Analysts and supports committees.
